Upright tulip living is what we were made for.…at least that’s what I call it.
UPRIGHT TULIP LIVING
You see, tulips were made to stand upright, basking in the light of the sun. When they are watered correctly and are fully living in the light of the sun, their buds reach heavenward. But when tulips aren’t well watered and they are living void of the sunlight, that’s when they start to droop and fall over.
Can you relate?
I know I certainly can. But in this new and changing season, I sense the Lord saying, no more of that. No more drooping, no more getting less than what I have for you. No more living, just getting by.
Isaiah 46:4 says,
I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.
I have made you and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. What comforting words. The Lord promises that He will sustain us and that He will rescue us. He wants to turn your face from the darkness and into the light. He wants to bring our heads from a place of drooping, to a place of upright tulip living.
He simply asks, “Will let you me do this thing? Standing in the light of My presence will give you ALL the nutrients and water you need for a life of fully living within your purpose. Trust me. I have you. Put your roots down deep into the soil of my love. Let me water you. Let me give you the nutrients and sunlight you need. And all you need to do is just grow and BE with me. That’s what you were created for. Resting and being in my love.”
So with the year coming to a close, how do you feel the Lord calling you to grow and just be? To put down and establish roots, to allow Him to weed out that which is no longer serving, and to step into the rays of His perfect love.
Do you sense He’s calling you out of a place of drooping living into a place of upright tulip living?🌷 Will you meet Him there?
